My first impression of Jeju Island was that it was beautiful. From the plane, we were able to see that many parts of it was still very much nature and farmland. Arriving in Jeju, I was able to tell that the people cared very much for their environment and did not want any harm to come to their beautiful island. They wanted to keep it clean and preserve it as much as possible. Many of the roads are made out of lava rocks from the inactive volcano. I thought it was wonderful how resourceful it was.
