My name is Meiling Xiao. I’m from China and this is my second year at University of Minnesota. I am currently an upcoming senior and majoring in Supply Chain and Operation at Carlson School of management. I was introduced to this program by a friend who took this program before and told me was very interesting experience and lots of fun, so I was very excited when I was accepted to this program. My name is Nina Thao. I am twenty years old Hmong girl. I am a junior at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus studying Family Social Science. Outside of studying, I really enjoy spending time with family, playing my guitar, singing, dancing, and hiking. I love, love, love food and love trying new bizarre food. I also love to travel and explore new things. I hope to try a lot of new food, Korean facial products, and learn new things about the Korean culture as I emerge myself in it. | Hello! Hi! my name is Stephanie. I am originally from Atlanta Georgia. I am the youngest of 3 children. In the summer of 2013 My family and I moved to North Iowa to be closer to family. I have family in Iowa and all over Minneapolis and the surrounding area. I am currently studying for a double major, one in physical therapy assisting and the other in business management. I love learning about different cultures, languages, people, and food especially South Korea! For as long as I can remember, I have always love South Korea. Whether it’s KPOP or Korean dramas, I would love to learn more about South Korea than just what the internet and TV portray it to be. |
