Current Schooling system a barrier for foreign born students

In the reading we have done, there is a lot of similarity between the education systems . In the lectures about the Korea’s education, we learned about the different types of high schools and have all schools have one national curriculum . I feel this to be important as each student has the same education and there is no social barrier to disadvantage them to move up the social system . Hagwon was big part of have students in Korea advantage to better university and be top students . But hagwon is usually private school that only those with financial stability can afford . One thing that left mark on me was how limited the schooling system can be to foreigner or refugee as there is not much laws to protect them.
