Beautiful Jeju

Jeju Island is the most beautiful place that I’ve visited in my 20 years of life. I heard from SNUE students that Jeju is a beautiful and fun place to explore but I didn’t think much of it. I was just expecting a normal looking island (whatever that means to you) with just water surrounding it. The environment and scenery is breathtaking but I had to work hard to see them. Unlike Seoul, Jeju Island has many many trees and is based off their environment and nature. I remember walking up soo many flights of stairs the first day in Jeju Island thinking that the subway stairs in Seoul had prepared me but I was so wrong. I had multiple rivers of sweat flowing down my face and was burning calories from all the food I had weeks before. I had lost count of how many steps I took to get to the top or bottom of every beautiful mountain and waterfall that we went to but it was all worth it.

Final reflection

I don't even know where to begin as a final reflection. This trip made me realize just how much I would like to live and work in Korea....
