Hello Jeju!

This is my second day on Jeju Island. Exploring the unique culture of Jeju is a new experience for me. Firstly, I was very surprised by its urban feel and relaxed environment because I was thinking about Jeju as a honeymoon island. You can see there are many high rise apartments and office buildings. Also, I found that I don’t need to speak Korean as I thought. The road is wide and clear. I loved the clean streets devoid of garbage and the plethora of trash and recycling bins lining the streets. I was impressed by Jeju Island’s unique culture of food, clothing, and housing due to the geographic characteristics of the island. I look forward to seeing how my first impressions will change and adapt to my new surroundings on Jeju.
