Beautiful Korean Goddesses

During our field trip to the Seodaemun Prison History Museum, I learned that my culture and the Korean culture are similar in a way that we both were attacked by outsiders and how we both had to fight for who we are. It was easy for me to understand the Korean “Han” culture because of our similarities. Walking through the prison was a little difficult for me because learning about the stories and history of the people who were held there made me emotional and felt heavy hearted. But going to the Gyeonbokgung Palace learning and understanding the past and stories makes me feel a great since of appreciation for South Korea. The tour guide told us a story about the King and Queen in the past and I almost tear up because of their wonderful sad love story. Wearing hanbok with the girls was such a wonderful experience. We looked so beautiful in hanbok I thought we're beautiful Korean goddesses.
