Language is not a barrier

I am going to hope for the best when I point at that item on the Korean menu. It is hard when I can’t converse with people in their language, and especially in their home country. For the past two and half weeks that I have been here in South Korea, an interaction that I have had is when the group and I ate out together and would have to split the bill. The waiter did not understand that, so I had to make it clear. I was reminded that patience will help others who don’t speak the same language as I do, understand what I am saying.

Final reflection

I don't even know where to begin as a final reflection. This trip made me realize just how much I would like to live and work in Korea....
