Scaffolding knowledge

During this week, I learned some South Korean cultural practices, such as traditional music, cuisine,Taekwondo, art, dance, etc., and the history of written Korean plays a significant role in the social political context of South Korea. It helps me understand more about Korean education and Korean society, especially the educational system and teacher Preparation. Before learning the content of the lectures, the readings helped me gain a basic understanding of Korean education and Korean society. The readings gave me a direction on learning South Korean culture and help me understand the content of lectures easily. The way I connect the readings and lecture is critical thinking their difference as well as compare and contrasts the educational system in South Korea and the United States.
