First Impressions

This is the 5th day in South Korea. My overall first impression Seoul was that it is busy. The street is crowded with people. Myeong-dong is my first place to visit. There many visitors and salespersons around the street. Some of the restaurant customs are interesting. Most restaurants have water dispensers that you use to re-fill your glass on your own or they put a pitcher of water on the table right after you sit down, and Kimchi is everywhere. SNUE also impressed me because it is a university providing training for future public elementary school teachers in South Korea. The students here are all becoming teachers. I feel that their student life is quite different from U.S college students. It seems that they already take the responsibility before they become teachers.
