There is this way of life in Seoul, a certain way that keeps the young and the old very healthy and busy. South Koreans spend a lot of their time walking to, from, and on the subways and buses- a system that working individuals, students, and families heavily rely on. Within the past five days that I have been here, I have had to use the subway system everyday to get to Myeongdong, Apgujeoung, Bamdokkaebi, and Insadong.
I also enjoy the classes that I attend here at Seoul National University of Education. There are local faculty members who teach certain topics, such as South Korean education, history, language, taekwondo, and traditional dancing. Each topic has gone hand in hand, influencing one another to show the importance of the South Korean culture. In addition, each professor has passion with what they teach because they believe in the power of education.
