A different way of life

Other than learning how to use chopsticks, these past three weeks in South Korea has been extremely unbelievable. I have many, many takeaways such as experiencing a culture that uses subways, doesn’t have pedestrian rights, doesn’t have sidewalks, and has a very strict educational system. Shockingly, there are stores located literally everywhere; however, students are stuck in Hagwons. It makes me wonder, “Why do these stores exist? Why have an amusement park? Why etc.?” When I learned about how students hangout, I was surprised. The reason why is because their hangouts only happen at the Hagwons. What? That is a difficult life, at least to me. Despite all of that, I loved South Korea very much.
