I was waiting for the subway during the last week in Seoul on my way back from Seoul Forest when I noticed an older gentleman glancing over at me a couple times. When we got on the subway, he came over to me and started to speak to me in English. He said he thought I was from the United States and wanted to know what part. When I said Minnesota, he was excited because he had lived in St. Paul for a year when working for 3M and also downtown Minneapolis for another couple of years. We talked about the differences in cultures in Korea and the US and places to visit for the remainder of my time in Seoul. He was extremely nice and welcoming which has been a reflection of the majority of the people here in Korea. It's a small world!

Final reflection

I don't even know where to begin as a final reflection. This trip made me realize just how much I would like to live and work in Korea....
