I've always wanted a Caricature and I was finally able to get one outside of the Coex Mall aquarium for only $10. When trying to ask for the price and size, I found myself confused with what the lady was trying to say. She spoke little to no English and I knew no Korean other than the word hello and thank you. Eventually, we began pointing fingers and nodding our heads as a form of communication because of our language differences. Despite the confusion and misunderstanding, the lady who drew my portrait was very understanding and waited patiently for me to figure out the situation. I find it beautiful and amazing how communication is not limited to just spoken words but that it can be universal as long as a connection is made.
This shows the flexibilities between our languages.
