Much like the book, the education system in South Korea is extremely intense. The book touched upon the seriousness of academics and how students put so much time and effort into their studies. While in South Korea I have learned that the education is as serious as shown in the book. Students are in classes for 14 hours a day. They then spend two hours eating and resting and then 4 hours of sleep. They then repeat this cycle over and over again. The seriousness of education is also placed upon the parents, who extremely involved in the education of their children, this was talked about in the book as well.

Final reflection

I don't even know where to begin as a final reflection. This trip made me realize just how much I would like to live and work in Korea....
