Learning new rules

Our first impression of Korea was that people were very nice and welcoming. We noticed that all the guards who works in the front of the dorm rooms would always greet us in english and try to start small conversations with us, asking us how our day is. Another impression we had was that their rules here were much different from America, for example, we noticed right away that in Korea cars can be parked any way in either side. In America, cars would not be able to be parked like that. Also, we noticed that pedestrians do not seem to have "right of way" here in Korea. Another thing we noticed was there was many large buildings and apartments everywhere. The culture here is definitely different from America.
