Welcome to the Taste of South Korea 2016 student blog! We are so excited to be returning to SNUE this August with a new group of University of Minnesota students. This year we have a group of 12 students, check out their profiles under the tab "Meet the 2016 Students". We also are excited about new experiences we have added to the program this year. For example, we have added a workshop on Special Education in South Korea; and a 4 day trip to Jeju Island! During our time at the island we will explore Jeju's Global Education City, visit historical sites, and learn more about an important part of Korean culture - green tea production! This year in addition to reading The Smartest Kids in the World: And How They Got That Way by Amanda Ripley, students will also be reading Education Fever by Michael Seth.
