Insadong was a wonderful neighborhood with unique stores and art along the street walls. I love the atmosphere of the neighborhood, as it felt welcoming to both foreigners and Koreans. It was easy to navigate with a tourist information booth and English signs everywhere. I am convinced that in Seoul it is very hard to get lost since there are so many resources available. Koreans are very friendly and many can speak some English. It is nice to actually see that Korean people are aware that many foreigners are interested in South Korea. One of my highlights was seeing small-owned shops that weren’t carbon copy of each other. I enjoyed how Insadong had things to offer besides the typical department shopping experience. I would like to come here again to explore other parts and buy more souvenirs. I would recommend people to check this area out for souvenirs, sightseeing, and delicious foods.
