I really enjoyed having lunch with the SNUE staffs. It was a great experience to try the traditional Korean full course meal because it wasn’t like anything I’ve ever tried before. I thought it was interesting that certain dishes would be served at different time. It felt like the chefs and servers were knowledgeable and passionate about the food that they were cooking. And I really enjoyed the grapes that were served after the main dishes. It literally tasted like ‘luxury’ in my mouth. The grapes had a totally different taste and texture than what I am used to in the U.S. Now I can definitely see why fruits are more expensive in South Korea because they’re grown with more care. What I took from the experience was that vegetables are eaten more compared to meat. Also, the vegetable dishes had more variety in terms of taste. So I was happy that everyone including the SNUE staffs had the opportunity to share this experience.
